Expect a battle royale if the stalled Hotel Ludlow project is indeed rescued by boutique hotel masters Richard Born and Ira Drukier. The BD Hotels duo, who are also partners in the Maritime, Chambers, Greenwich, Jane and Bowery hotels, are sure to install at least two drinking establishments (ground floor and roof bar) in the project, something that will definitely get the watchdogs at CB 3 all riled up. Doesn't that seem preferable to an 15 story unfinished hotel? We're already prepping for an epic community board meeting. [Curbed NY]
