If you have $80 burning a hole in your pocket, why not head on down to Minetta Tavern and have the bartender pour you a shot of Black Tot rum. The 40-year-old booze was formerly the official rum of the Royal Navy, which handed out a ration to sailors every day. When the practice was discontinued in 1970, the remaining lot was sent to a warehouse until the entire store was purchased by a high end distributor. If one shot just isn't enough, there are a few bottles going for $1000 a pop at Astor Wines. [DJ]
