Remember when McDonald's launched a line of NYC themed cupcakes in Germany? Well now it's happening in the UK with bagels, another New York centric export. Curbed's in-house DJ Mike Nouveau spotted the above signage at a bagel stand in Heathrow Airport.
The cupcakes were inspired by The East Village, Chelsea, Central Park, and Soho. Here we have non traditional (and none too tempting) bagel sandwiches evoking Harlem, the East Village, Coney Island, Soho, Staten Island, Times Square, and the Empire State Building. As Curbed points out, there is one authentic thing about this menu: "The Soho is the most expensive one."
