2) Red Hook: Realty Collective is reporting that Stumptown Coffee Roasters has opened up their Red Hook location where they will be serving a wide variety of brewed coffee but not any espresso. Status: Opening soon; 219 Van Brunt St., Red Hook. [Realty Collective]
3) Lower East Side: A new location of Maury Rubin's Birdbath, the fastidiously green operation from City Bakery, has opened inside the New Museum on the ground floor and is available to museum-goers and pedestrians alike. Status: Certified Open; 235 Bowery, 212-219-1222. [ENY]
4) Williamsburg: The Feed brings word that Akariba, the Zenkichi offshoot located next door, is opening. The izakaya-style bar is serving Japanese-influenced cocktails as well as seasonal sakes which will pair well with their menu of differently-prepared oysters. Status: Not open.
