Maritime Parc, New Birdbath Certified Open; Akariba Soon

1) Jersey City: Maritime Parc, a 30,000 sq. foot, three-story restaurant and event space, in Liberty State Park is now open to the public. Their menu offers seafood-rich, modern American cuisine with seasonal focus. Status: Certified open; 84 Audrey Zapp Drive, Liberty State Park, Jersey City, 201-413-0050. [ENY]

2) Red Hook: Realty Collective is reporting that Stumptown Coffee Roasters has opened up their Red Hook location where they will be serving a wide variety of brewed coffee but not any espresso. Status: Opening soon; 219 Van Brunt St., Red Hook. [Realty Collective]

3) Lower East Side: A new location of Maury Rubin's Birdbath, the fastidiously green operation from City Bakery, has opened inside the New Museum on the ground floor and is available to museum-goers and pedestrians alike. Status: Certified Open; 235 Bowery, 212-219-1222. [ENY]

4) Williamsburg: The Feed brings word that Akariba, the Zenkichi offshoot located next door, is opening. The izakaya-style bar is serving Japanese-influenced cocktails as well as seasonal sakes which will pair well with their menu of differently-prepared oysters. Status: Not open. 5) Windsor Terrace: Brownstoner reports that Brooklyn Pub, a bar with seven plasma screens to cater to football fans, is now open. Status: Certified open; 689 6th Ave., Windsor Terrace. 718-369-0088. [Brownstoner]

6) Soho: The Feed also files on FPB, Francois Payard's return to the dance floor after the shuttering of his venerable Payard Patisserie. Status: Opens next Tuesday, 9/21; 116 West Houston St, 212-995-0888. [TONY]
