Gothamist reports that the building that holds pizza sensation Motorino on Graham Avenue in East Williamsburg is tilted. It's had a slight tilt for the last 15 years, according to the Department of Buildings, but the situation has gotten so bad recently that the restaurant's doors and windows can't properly close (see arrows at right).
The landlord is working to fix the situation and the pizzeria will close "for as brief a time as possible during the repairs." Brooklyn, stop swallowing up our restaurants.
Update: A publicist now tells Gothamist (and us) that they aren't closing. Yay.
