This week Sam Sifton awards one star to "garish" pan-Latin restaurant Nuela: "And while Nuela certainly profiles as the sort of place for singles to drink and stare and scheme, it often proves itself to be the opposite: an eater’s den, substantial, interesting, slightly eccentric."
