Oh Yes It's Ladies Night, Oh What A Night

In what can only be described as a landmark ruling, a federal court has upheld the legality of Ladies Night promotions at bars and nightclubs, determining that charging men more than women for entry on certain nights does not violate anyone's civil rights. The court didn't buy anti-feminist lawyer Roy Den Hollander's claim that the granting of a liquor license by the SLA required them to charge equal prices to both sexes but Hollander still disagrees, arguing that it allows these bars and nightclubs to "discriminate against any group of persons by charging them more for admission than other groups. It does not matter whether the nightclubs charge males or females or blacks or Latins or any other identifiable group more for admission—it is now constitutional."

Maybe Roy should worry less about the prices and handle things more like the King of Ladies Night, Kool and the Gang, would. In Kool's words:

Romantic Lady , single baby
Mm sophisticated mama
Come on you disco lady yeah
Stay with me tonight , mama ,yeah
Hollander plans on taking this case all the way to the Supreme Court, but until then, Oh yes it's Ladies Night, and we feel alright, oh what a night!
