Under Pressure

2010_08_mural.jpgThe owner of a Staten Island bar succumbed to alleged pressure from local firefighters and painted over a mural that they felt depicted a terrorist attack. Manuel Rodriguez, the bar's owner, attempted to explain that the mural actually depicted a "vision of apocalyptic peril," but the firefighters were unconvinced and allegedly threatened to write a nasty letter to the local paper unless the mural was removed.
