New, 5 comments

EAST VILLAGE— Momofuku Milk Bar now has some sick looking bagels filled with bacon scallion cream cheese. They're individually wrapped, maybe to make sure customers don't have to pay that bogus sliced bagel tax. [EaterWire]

CHELSEA—Friedman's, a restaurant inside Chelsea Market, will tomorrow extend its hours into dinnertime, serving a full menu Tues-Sat. Per their PR, the menu is "creative, modern-day comfort food with locally sourced produce, humane meats, and a variety of gluten-free options." [EaterWire]

PRINT MEDIA—The Gourmet brand is being revived for what's being called "special edition" magazines that recycle reuse recipes that were originally published in Gourmet. The first issue, called Gourmet Quick Kitchen, hits newsstands September 7th, and will set you back $10.99. [Eater National]

FLATIRONGansevoort Park offers a Twitpic of their menu, which includes one of the funniest high/low items of all time: Three meat sloppy joes with veal, kobe beef, and sausage. [Twitter]
