Smith's, the Forgotten Victim of Shake Shack's Expansion

Oh, Shake Shack coming to the neighborhood is all well and good for the Midtown office drones, the burger bloggers, the Shack fanatics, the Intercontinental Hotel guests, and the Theater-going tourists. But has anyone stopped for a minute to think of poor old Smith's Corner? Smith's, the oft-empty Theater District dive that apparently also has classic burgers that deserve a shot? We didn't think so.

P.S.: The most favorable review on Yelp for Smith's says, "Not as dirty as the previous review suggests, but it aint clean either." Lost City calls it "Very Bennigans."
