As mentioned earlier, Peels, the new Bowery sister restaurant to Freemans, opened for pastries and coffee today at 7 AM. Now, an Eater operative sends some shots from within, adding, "Peels is serving a damn fine biscuit." Once again proving that Taavo Somer is a man who just gets it. Lunch and dinner service will begin later this week, when the public should get their first glimpse of the second floor.
