Blue Marble Flagship, Mantao Chinese Sandwiches Shutter

1) Boerum Hill: Brownstoner reports the sad news that Blue Marble Ice Cream is closing its flagship store on Atlantic Avenue. They say that they are closing the three year-old shop in a few weeks because the landlord is almost doubling the rent. They still have stores on Court and Underhill. [Brownstoner]

2) Midtown: Midtown Lunch learns that Boi to Go on 2nd between 42nd and 43rd is shuttered. [ML]

3) Midtown: Mantao Chinese Sandwiches, a shop that originated between Tribeca and Chinatown serving delicious little bun-like sandwiches, closed and eventually moved to Midtown last year. It didn't survive there either. Last week Midtown Lunch brought the news that their new location on 52nd between 2nd and 3rd has also closed. Sad. [ML]
