After helping bring the Jane Ballroom down last summer, the Nightmare on Jane Street folks have been completely silent since the Jane Ballroom got permission to re-open four months ago. So it was surprising to see that resident of the tony West Village block who manages the Twitter account resume their battle position last night, firing away a rant about a screaming drunkard. The Jane Ballroom had managed to ease back into action after getting their licensing issues in order, putting their new, more neighbor friendly operating procedures into effect. But business has been picking up lately, and with the Fashion Week madness and the return of college students just around the corner, can the détente last?
