Just yesterday, What About the Plastic Animals pointed out the high turnover on Frederick Douglass Blvd. of late. And now here's another newcomer. Harlem Bespoke reports that Harlem Tavern, a giant, mostly outdoor restaurant is opening in the space of an old gas station on 116th Street between Frederick Douglass and 8th Ave. this winter. See the bounty of renderings here.
The funny thing is, it's just three blocks from the newly opened Bier International. An alfresco renaissance in Harlem? It's also four blocks from the new neighborhood hit, 5 & Diamond.
