3) Williamsburg: The Downtown Diaries previews French-influenced Le Comptoir, which hits the 'burg with Franco-American (not the company) fare from Sebastian Chamaret of La Goulue. Status: Opens tomorrow; 251 Grand St, 718-486-3300 [TDD]

4) East Village: The Feed has details on White Noise, a watering hole with a rock and roll ethos. To wit, there are black chandeliers with red light bulbs to compliment the black vinyl couches. Status: Certified Open; 225 Ave B, 212-539-0925 [The Feed]
