GOVERNOR'S ISLAND— The annual food truck festival Parked is taking place this year on Governor's Island on September 5. The one last year brought out 3,000 people. [W&D]

WILLIAMSBURG— This Sunday, Union Pool is hosting that Farm to Folk Fest, a fundraiser for the Greenpoint-Williamsburg CSA's low income fund. There will be four bands, plenty of food, and the suggested donation is $12. [Greenpointers]

SECRET SNACKING—Sun Chips' new environmentally-friendly bag has a slight drawback: it's made out of biodegradable plant matter that makes the bag "crispy and crunchy" and thus noisier to handle. People are really mad about it, too, because they are secret snackers. As one customer told The Wall Street Journal, "You want to snack quietly and you don't want everyone in the house to know you are eating chips." [WSJ]

MEATPACKING DISTRICT—Villa Pacri in the Meatpacking District will soon open a lower level lounge/club called Tzigan. Let Grub Street explain its bottle service: "the multistory complex’s downstairs club, Tzigan, will feature cubbyholes where you can store unfinished bottles. So, after you spend whatever marked-up amount on a bottle, you can pay $500 per month (with a six-month minimum commitment) to store it. So, that’s a total of $3,000 to store the bottle, and each time you retrieve it, you’re charged a $100 flat fee for gratuity." [GS]
