The new restaurant row location of frat-tastic sports bar the Village Pourhouse is set to open next week, with several upgrades to the formula established at the first two locations, including a large, solid oak bar and a sports memorabilia collection. But perhaps most notable of all is the number of televisions the space will house: the main barroom area alone will have 21 HD TVs and projection screens, this in addition to the three private rooms, which will have three, four and six TVs, respectively, bringing the total number to a whopping 34 television screens.
The recently shuttered, dearly departed ESPN Zone had only 20, so this Hell’s Kitchen location may very well become the prominent New York home for multi-projection sports watching/beer guzzling man-action. If you're into that sort of thing, the new location is set to soft open next Wednesday, and per a press release, the Naked Cowboy will be on hand for photo ops.
