230 Fifth Amends Dress Code, OKs Flip Flops At Brunch

New, 3 comments

Just days after its draconian dress code for brunch was discovered, 230 Fifth has quickly changed course. Instead of banning casual attire for what is definitely the most delicious brunch in town, the most popular bar in New York is actually encouraging it. The bar's website has the updated policy, which says that "for Brunch and ONLY brunch, especially on the warmer Summer days, very casual attire is encouraged...T-shirts, shorts, flip-flops and so forth are perfectly fine." What a relief! But be warned, the old dress code still applies at all other times. Does this mean that casually dressed customers will be thrown off the roof as the bar transitions from brunch?
