Mexicue Truck Unleashes 'Mouthwatering Union' on NYC

New, 1 comment

Think New York already has every kind of food truck? Think again. Midtown Lunch discovers a Mexicue truck serving items like burnt ends with Mexican rub and arbol BBQ sauce and BBQ beets with crumbled goat cheese and notes, "This could be a game changer. Menu looks pretty great to say the least." Meanwhile, the owners explain the concept thusly:

Mexicue is the sweet, sweet love child of red-hot Mexican cuisine and down-home, barbeque goodness...At first, it felt weird—maybe even wrong? Can the spicy, sultry flavors of Mexico hang with the smoky and sensuous barbecue? To put it mildly, they mixed. In fact, it was an explosive, mouthwatering union.
They just launched earlier this week, but have a full run down of where to find them, their menu, their philosophy, etc. here. And act quick when you find them—they sold out of food at 2 PM today.
