Strong Place Opens Tonight; Cariño Gets its Booze On

WILLIAMSBURG— A regular at the restaurant reports that Cariño, a Mexican restaurant in Williamsburg opened by Bonita alums, just received its liquor license: "The margaritas are pretty spectacular, though impossible to compare to Bonita because Bonita was never able to secure anything more than a beer/wine license." CHELSEA—Klee Brasserie now offers house made mini hot dogs for a dollar from 5:30 - 7 PM nightly. Meanwhile they'll serve three beer cocktails for $7-9. [EaterWire]

COBBLE HILL—New restaurant Strong Place from the owners of Bocca Lupo and Nectar officially opens tonight at 270 Court St. according to that little white sign to the left of the door in the above pic. They'll have a raw bar, charcuterie and craft beers. [EaterWire]

LOWER EAST SIDE—A tipster reports that Sorella restaurant will be closed tomorrow due to an Iron Chef taping and that the menu will be changing soon. [EaterWire]
