The always quotable Matt Levine sat down with NBC New York for a State of Matt Levine discussion, and it turns out the Eldridge owner has a few things on his mind. Levine says he would "would honestly rather make a cocktail in my apartment, throw on a DJ Equal mix or Silver Medallion CD" than go to New York clubs these days, because New York nightlife lacks creativity. He is also against restaurants and bars using Twitter to announce the presence of celebrity customers, and says "I personally quit Twitter because as cliché’ as this sounds, every person should be a leader, not a follower." It doesn't sound cliche to us.
