UWS' West Branch and Bussaco in Park Slope Also Shutter

New, 5 comments

Bellavitae wasn't the only restaurant to bite the dust over the weekend. Grub Street reports that Tom Valenti's struggling Upper West Side bistro West Branch closed on Sunday night. Back in May, Valenti was said to be behind on his rent and investor Jeffrey Chodorow said he was considering shuttering the place and reopening with a new concept.

Meanwhile signage on the door reveals that Bussaco, a Park Slope restaurant that was very briefly linked to chef Katy Sparks, closed on Friday. The news comes five months after rumors first circulated that the place was in trouble.
