Later this fall, Craig Koketsu's The Hurricane Club will open within the bones of Porcao, a well known but ultimately unsuccessful giant Brazilian churrascaria spot on 26th and Park. But the Flatiron won't have to go without unlimited meat on a stick for long. The Real Deal reports that Pampas Brazilian Grille, a steakhouse with locations in LA and within the Planet Hollywood casino in Vegas, will open a 7,500 square foot location just a couple blocks away from the Porcao space at 27th and Madison. It's opening within the Moinian Group's 72 Madison Avenue, which was renovated last year, in what looks to be the former home of restaurant Olana.
