Let the Battle of the Silly Midtown Pasta Chains Begin!

Last week, Hello Pasta, a Chipotle-like pasta chain opened its first of many locations on Lexington and 55th. And because of a deal on 8 Coupons, the opening caused quite a scene (see left photo). But, as mentioned earlier, Hello Pasta isn't Midtown's only entree into the world of fast food spaghetti. Midtown Lunch reports today that Nooï, a French pasta chain serving slightly cheaper dishes, is now open a mere 14 blocks away. With any luck, this trend will sputter out relatively quickly.
