Shake Shack Midtown in Final Prep Stages, Could Open Friday

This morning tipsters sent in photos of the new signage at Shake Shack Upper East Side, but how's the impending Shack Shack Theater District doing? Well, an operative passed by the new outpost at the new Intercontinental Hotel yesterday and reports that things are hopping! The kitchen is on full view from the street and a full crew of Schack-sters were "all inside learning how to cook Shackburgers!"

Inside colorful seating awaits and "team Members," undoubtedly culled from the millions who responded to the Shacks's "Open Call' on Craigslist, were cramming to learn the "sincere, Shake Shack sense of Hospitality." Outside, beneath the signage listing the full array of goodies, the windows were being scraped in prep for the anticipated opening, sometime "soon."

Meanwhile, Midtown Lunch hears they may be ready to open on Friday.
