The Lambs Club, a major summer opening that has been in the works for quite some time, is about six weeks from opening, partner David Rabin tells Eater. Opening in a Standford White landmarked building, the bi-level space (the 60 seat bar is on the second floor) is designed by Thierry Despont and will feature the fancy food stylings of one Geoffrey Zakarian, late of Country. It's in the same space as the original, and once famed, Lambs Club which, press materials say, "was the gathering place of both Broadway and Hollywood royalty alike and had legendary members." They're hoping to evoke that clubby feel, while serving traditional American fare and some gussied up cocktails.
