1) Williamsburg: Roving photographer Will Femia happens by Cafe Colette, the new restaurant opening in the old Silent H space on Berry and North 9th. According to signage in the window, it will open on Monday. They'll serve bistro fare all day and have a coffee window boasting Stumptown brews. [POST-PLYWOOD]

2) Chelsea: A reader sends in a picture of Co Ba, a new banh mi place at 110 Ninth Ave between 17th and 18th street. It's opening in one week. [PLYWOOD]

3) Bushwick: NY Barfly reports that The Narrows, a new Bushwick cocktail bar, is opening next week off the Morgan stop. And it will have a sweet outdoor garden. They'll be serving up rye cocktails, American craft beers on draft, and an extensive wine list. [POST-PLYWOOD]

4) Columbia Street Waterfront: Brownstoner brings word that a new restaurant will open at 126 Union, this August: "A worker we chatted up said there would be a small menu featuring seasonal foods that will be 'chef inspired.'" [PLYWOOD]

5) Kips Bay: Kips Baby & Beyond reports that Le Parisien, the new restaurant on 33rd between 3rd Ave. and Lexington should be in a week to 10 days. [PLYWOOD]
