Andy Yang Considers Rhong Tiam Express for Park Avenue

Chef and restaurateur Andy Yang's hopes of opening a branch of his popular Rhong Tiam down at the now closed Collective Hardware space may be dashed, but he's not done expanding. Per a Chowhounder after visiting Rhomg Tiam East (rip Kurve): "I was there yesterday and the owner mentioned that he's opening a branch around Park Avenue South and 21st. It'll be called Rhong-Tiam Express (like the takeout spot he used to have) and is supposed to open June 28." He goes on to mention that a specialty of the house will be homemade Thai-style roti with chicken, vegetables, and other fillings.Oh, and there will also be a juice bar.
