UPPPER WEST SIDE— Bill Telepan is offering a special Harvest menu from Monday, June 21 - Thursday, June 24, to feature summer produce from Blooming Hill Farm. The five course menu runs $75 a person, $135 with pairings.
EAST VILLAGE—After converting its raw bar area into a showcase for market goods, last night Faustina added a new vegetable section to its menu. It features a slew of $6 a plate veggies—marinated mushrooms, roasted cipolinni onions, beans dusted with parmesean, roasted tomatoes with olives, etc.—served at room temp. The whole vegggie antipasti menu, meant to be shared, can be ordered for $30.
WEST VILLAGE— The famed Zito's Bakery, which closed in 2004, is going to be replaced with Pizza Roma, a chain that has outposts in Rome and Barcelona but has yet to make inroads in the U.S. [JVNY]
