355 Metropolitan Ave., Williamsburg
Phone: 718-384-5054
Status: Open for lunch
The good news is St. Anselm, the long awaited sister restaurant to Spuyten Duyvil in Williamsburg, is open. The bad news is, as Gothamist reports, it's only open in a limited capacity. It opened this week for lunch, and will open on Monday for dinner. Since they don't have their liquor license yet, owner Jim Carroll is only serving a pared down menu of sliders, deep fried hot dogs, and Newark dogs.
The full menu, previewed here, won't be available for another month (!) or two.
