MIDTOWN— Diner's Journal reports that Mindy's, the restaurant in the Helmsley Hotel will reopen on May 12 as Leona's. They'll charge a mandatory gratuity of 19 percent to every check. [Diner's Journal]

FIDI— Grub Street sends word that Ed's Lobster Bar is opening a mobile kiosk down by the World Financial Center. Chef Ed McFarland will sell a $27 and $15 lobster roll and soft shell crab on ciabatta, and sandwiches starting at $6. [GS]
