Back in March, the Parks Dept. announced it was looking for a handful of vendors to handle the concessions at the newly opened Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO. And it looks like the roster is finally coming together. Reps announce today that Marc Murphy's West Village restaurant Ditch Plains will launch Dith Plains Drop In at Pier 1 this summer. The "surf-style concession stand" will serve a a selection of Ditch Plains specialties, including its "celebrated lobster roll and an array of hot dogs, including the famous Ditch Dog, to kid-friendly lunch boxes."

Also on the docket: the famed food truck (and now brick and mortar space) Calexico, Brooklyn's Blue Marble Ice Cream, and an outdoor wine bar by Pier 66 Maritime, the people behind the Frying Pan. All stands should open this summer, while more stands will open by Pier 6 later in the year.
