Diablo Royale Este Opens Just in Time for Cinco De Mayo Partying

Restaurateur Jason Hennings' latest venture, an East Village version of his Mexican restaurant Diablo Royale, is readying to open in the next hour or two (see the wood staining in action to the right). Like its sister restaurant, but with much more space, Diablo Royale Este trades in Mexican classics like fajitas, enchiladas, queso fundido, and guacamole, but they also have a chipotle burger, adobo spare ribs, and a croque monsieur chimichanga. Because of the bigger space, this EVill sister has a downtstairs bar, a screening room, a 30 seat garden, and room for chef Peter Klein to cook large format feasts.
