In an article in which writer Glenn Collins spends hundreds of words saying what can be said in just a handful—with many of those words spent anthropomorphizing a restaurant—we learn chef Jonathan Benno's $20 million project in Lincoln Center still doesn't have a name. And that sucks for the marketing people and the people making the napkins or somesuch. More interesting are the name suggestions from Times readers:
· Park SlopeHey, as long as it's not Dogwinkle, they're on the right track. Have a better/funnier name? Put it in the comments.
· Expense It
· Pasta Diva
· One Hundred Years of Solitude
· Abe's Place
· Lincolncello
· The Lincoln Center Cafeteria
· Hemena-Hemena
· The Lincolneer
· Name That Restaurant [Diner's Journal]
