Franks Planning a Spuntino/Pedlar Expansion for Portland?

It looks like the Franks of Frankies Spuntino in Carroll Gardens and the LES might have yet another project on very full their plates. In addition to a forthcoming cookbook, their two Frankies, two Cafe Pedlars, Prime Meats, and potential West Village project, they're planning something out of state.

A month or so ago a tipster was told by a Stumptown barista that the Fantastic Franks were teaming up with their friend and sometime partner, coffee man Duane Sorenson to open up something in Portland. It somewhat makes sense given Portland is home to the coffee chain, but there was no confirmation offered by the Frankies camp. But now this from Kim Severson's weed trend piece: "The chefs and restaurateurs Frank Falcinelli and Frank Castronovo said most of their projects...even a new restaurant planned for Portland, Ore...were conceived with the creative help of marijuana." A big win for the west coast.
