1) Williamsburg: A tipster reveals that Crif Dogs is eying 555 Driggs Ave., the former Neil's Luncheonette space right next to Argentinian restaurant El Almacen. Reps tell us they have yet to sign a lease but wherever they end up, there will not be a PDT attachment as in Manhattan. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
2) Upper East Side: New signage is finally up on the new location of brgr on 61st and Third Ave. [PLYWOOD]
3) Gramercy: Above, the exterior of a new bar opening on 38 Gramercy Park. The fancy pants residents of the area abhor it and are trying to keep it from opening. [PLYWOOD]
4) Williamsburg: Per roving photog Will Femia: "The old Sound Fix space on Bedford Ave. looks like it could go any day now. The construction inside looks mostly done. New lighting, bar, furniture. Not sure how much more they're going to do to it but it's not a construction pit. I haven't been able to see into the back part yet, which already was a bar. I'm curious where/if they put in a kitchen." Meanwhile Mable's BBQ at 44 Berry has new signage in the windows. [POST PLYWOOD]
5) Meatpacking District: Curbed reports that the Friends of the High Line are getting a $20 million M&O building that will include a cafe with outdoor seating and views of Washington Street. [PLYWOOD]
6) East Village: The Downtown Diaries shares some info on new bar/bershop The Blind Barber in the former Plan B space. Judging by their Twitter feed, finishing touches are in the works (the barber portion of the space is in working condition). It should open in two to three weeks on 10th and B. [PLYWOOD]
7) Williamsburg: Two more from The Downtown Diaries. First up, there's The Old Rooster, a "Polish-style beer garden and grill" with outdoor seating for groups laying claim at 219 N. 4th St. Then, two fellas from the Bar Veloce group are opening Custom Wine Bar at 644 Driggs Ave. Custom Wine could be ready as soon as this weekend, while The Old Rooster is anticipating a mid-summer (June-July) open. 8) Upper West Side: The West Side Independent pens the news that Energy Kitchen is coming to a space that formerly housed a Natural Food Market on 72nd St between Amsterdam and Columbus Aves. [PLYWOOD]
9) Ditmas Park: Ditmas Park Blog posts snapshots of signage and a new menu for Junction 583, the restaurant taking over the Pomme De Terre space at 1301 Newkirk Ave, which states that they're aiming for a vague "June" opening. [PLYWOOD]
