Last week, the Times previewed the Brooklyn Grange, the giant rooftop farm currently being constructed over in Long Island City. Whoopsies! After that publicity, the operation was visited and immediately shut down by the city, because they didn't have the correct paperwork to ensure that the "roof could handle nearly a million pounds of dirt, which will weigh even more when wet and rooted with vegetables."
