Brownstone Brooklyn Robbery Spree Hits Slope Restaurants

Just a week after a reported uptick in petty robberies at Trader Joe's over on Court Street, the Brooklyn Paper reports a thief is terrorizing Park Slope restaurants. What is going on in brownstone Brooklyn?

According to the police blotter, the thief (or thieves!) hit up Al Di La on May 5, stealing $300 and an iPod. They stole $1,000 from Aji Bar on May 6, $300 from Nuevo Mexico on May 8, and $300 from AOC Bistro on May 9. All burglaries took place late at night after the last manager had locked up. Park Slope restaurants, be on high alert. And Park Slope cops, get on top of this! We haven't seen a restaurant crime spree like this since the Soho/West Village robberies of January '09.
