After Two Year Wait, Nuela Will Actually Open Next Month

New, 4 comments

Nuela, a Flatiron restaurant that has been delayed for over two years, that has been in two Dining Section fall preview roundups, that was once meant to be the comeback project for chef Douglas Rodriguez, is actually opening. And kinda soon! This just in, from the inbox:

NEW YORK CITY (May 13, 2010) – This June, Chef Adam Schop will open Nuela, a 200-seat South American restaurant and ceviche bar on West 24th Street. A combination of the words nueva and Latina, Nuela will encapsulate the excitement and energy of South American cuisine with an urban sabor.
The former Sapa space will live again. Mr. Schop, we are sure it was worth the wait.
