Thistle Hill Tavern, a new restaurant owned and operated by David Massoni (an 'inoteca alum), John Bush (Niagara Bar), Chef Rebecca Weitzman (another 'inoteca alum) and Mike "Fat Mike" Burkett of NOFX (!), opened over the weekend in Park Slope. Now serving just dinner—breakfast, lunch, and the launch of the outdoor seating area are to come—the breezy, casual cafe and restaurant focuses on Mediterranean flavors and, of course, "locally sourced, seasonal produce, dairy and meat, and sustainable seafood." The extensive menu (below) features a slew of vegetarian options along with the obligatory pork belly, burgers, grass fed ribeye, and a breakfast for dinner entree with pancakes, eggs, sausage, and syrup.
