FORT GREENE— Fork in the Road reports that The Hideout cocktail bar in Fort Greene has reopened after shuttering in February. The closure was due to infighting between owners, but now "former head bartender John Pomeroy says that the disagreement has been resolved (or, rather, the disagreeable party removed) and that the bar is expected to reopen in a month or so." UNION SQUARE— The T.G.I. Friday's in Union Square that was originally scheduled to open last fall is now hiring. [GS]
MIDTOWN— Midtown is in terrible street cart limbo. The Hallo Berlin cart disappeared shortly after its founder died last fall. Workers at the Hallo Berlin restaurant aren't sure its ever coming back, but the website hints it will return in the fall. [ML]
