3) Soho: A Village local sends in the following plywood tips: "There's a new tiny sandwich shop opening up on Sullivan St. between Prince and Houston called something like Rabbits? Also concept called SweetGreen (Chopt competitor in DC) had a lease out that fell through on Spring St. and is actively looking to open multiple stores here. 4) Cobble Hill: Brownstoner reveals that construction is going on at the former Bueno space on the corner of Smith and Pacific Streets next to Pacifico. No word yet on what the transformation will deliver. [PLYWOOD]
5) Bushwick: Animal New York notes that a Burger King is moving in on Broadway near Flushing, mere yards from a McDonald's and a Taco Bell. [PLYWOOD]
6) Upper East Side: Life With Food and Drink gets shots of signage for a Le Pain Quotidien setting up shop at 88th and Lexington. [PLYWOOD]
7) Clinton Hill: Brownstoner also reveals that a community board notice for Fuego Lounge and Grill is up at 936 Fulton St. [PLYWOOD]
8) Harlem: Harlem Condo Life notices signage for a new restaurant lounge called Chocolat. [PLYWOOD]
9) Carroll Gardens: Fork in the Road reports that the owners of the Middle Eastern restaurant Zaytoon's are planning a bagel shop across the street. The Olde Brooklyn Bagel Shop (or perhaps Shoppe; the owners haven't decided yet) will open by summer at 603 Vanderbilt Avenue, and may feature what the owners speculate is the first organic bagel. 10) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie discovered some permits confirming the installation of a new Subway franchise in the corner space of 66 Delancey St. [PLYWOOD]
11) Midtown East: Midtown Lunch brings word that Macaron Cafe will expand and open a second location, this time on 59th Street between Madison and Park. The staff hopes to open by the beginning of July. [PLYWOOD]
12) Hell's Kitchen: Life with Food and Drink comes across permit applications for West Side Steakhouse, located on 10th Avenue between 43rd and 44th. The new steakhouse is taking the place of former Chinese take-out spot Gourmet Wok. [PLYWOOD]
13) Harlem: After years of delays and financial woes, Uptown Flavor says that rap star Doug E. Fresh's fried chicken and waffles restaurant is gearing up to open next month. Doug E's Fresh Chicken and Waffles first put up signage in 2007, but everything looks moved into colorful space now.
