Superdive, Chang, Marea All Winners at 2010 Eat Out Awards

Last night, Time Out New York brought their annual Eat Out Awards to Le Poisson Rouge. The event is the People's Choice to James Beards' Oscar, so as usual both the critics' choice and readers' choice awards focused on both the big timers—Locanda, Minetta, Maialino, Marea—and the not so well knowns—The Vanderbilt, Rye House, Uni Nom. TONY handed out about a hundred plates, the crowd applauded, hooted, and cheered, the Superdive guys actually showed, Kurt Guttenbrunner dressed in traditional Austrian garb, David Chang of course won something (best fried chicken, the Rye guys threatened to smash their plate, and The Red Hook Ramblers blasted live jazz throughout the night.
