In a debate on what to call soy milk, Fox 5 anchor Rosanna Scotto (part owner of Midtown's Fresco by Scotto) blurted out "Soy jism!" live on the air yesterday morning during Good Day New York. As might be expected, uncomfortable laughter ensued.
Local newspapers are focusing on her usage of a dirty word (see the NY Post and the NY Daily News for their coverage), but what about the word itself? Who even uses the term "jism"?
