EAST VILLAGE— Above, find the new logo for a restaurant that will open this year at 52 2nd Ave. by 3rd St. It's going to be a Belgian restaurant, but all other details are currently scarce. [EaterWire]

CHARITY—Over a dozen of the city's best chefs are gathering together (with Lauren Bacall!) for a fundraiser on May 10 for Wellness in the Schools, a charity working to reduce processed foods in NYC public schools. TRIBECA—The Red Hook Lobster Pound is going to be selling Lobster rolls at the Tribeca Family Festival on Saturday, May 1 on Greenwich between Harrison and Franklin. This is the first time that they are selling in Manhattan. [EaterWire]
