Baja Fresh's Burrito Eating Contest, Gonzo Goes on Vacay

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS— This fall, a group of Columbia University students will be launching a food truck called NOM^3. Its focus on seasonal produce and sustainability is meant to provide students with healthier, yet cheaper, options than what's provided in the neighborhood. This past Saturday, the group gave a sneak preview of the goods they'll be cooking up in the fall by catering to over 1,000 students on the Columbia lawn. Ricotta and Chorizo Crostini, Pear and Gorgonzola Crostini, Sauteed Eggplant Kabobs, and Chocolate Mascarpone Cake were a few of the items served. [EaterWire]
