Michael White's Soho Trattoria Gets its Shed On

And now, above, one of the first signs of progress at this space since chef/restaurateur Michael White signed the lease on 218 Lafayette, the former home of troubled bar The Falls. When it opens later this spring, the 94 seat, potentially no-reservations restaurant will serve casual fare from the Emilia Romagna section of Italy.
