Hamptons Landlord Sued Seeking To Evict Lily Pond Operator

New, 5 comments

Spring's arrival means that summer is right around the corner. But there is already trouble brewing in the Hamptons nightlife scene, as the Frank Cilione, the landlord of nightclub Lily Pond has moved to terminate the operator Mike Satsky's lease with one year remaining.

In court filings, Satsky claims that he "he's a victim of his own success and that Cilione wants him out because he got a more lucrative offer from another operator." It seems these shenanigans always go down with the limited number of nightclub venues, but with summer just two months away, this move would likely leave Iron Mike without a Hamptons operation for the season. A judge issued a temporary restraining order against Cilione, so Satsky still has his lease for now.
