Sue Torres Takes Over Food Operations at the Rusty Knot

New, 3 comments

Sue Torres, the talented Mexican chef and owner of Sueños in Chelsea and onetime chef at the shuttered Los Dados, is taking over the food operations at The Rusty Knot. The Knot built its culinary cred when it opened two years ago with Momofuku alum Joaquin Baca at the stoves, who was eventually succeeded by Tony Citino when he left to consult on Wilfie & Nell and opened The Brooklyn Star. Now, Torres is on board to inject some new life—and some Latin flavor—into that menu of heavy bar snacks. The chef has yet to reveal the full roster but says mango lollipops and tacos al pastor are sure things.
