2009_06_katz1.jpgIn Julia Moskin's article today about how Jewish delis across the country are trying to upgrade their fare by going organic, cage free, house made, and so on and so forth, the young owner of the new Brooklyn deli Mile End gets a little feisty about his forebear Katz's: "When I see tourists going into Katz’s, I feel a kind of rage...This is the food of my people, and places like that are turning it into a joke."
